Jason Evans for City Council
Jason Evans
I’m honored to announce that I’m running for re-election to the Cumming City Council.
Serving this community has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside so many of you to ensure Cumming remains a place we are all proud to call home.
Together, we’ve made real progress — from opening the Cumming City Center to expanding our Police Department and launching the Real Time Crime Center. We’ve strengthened public safety, invested in our quality of life, and are planning carefully for responsible growth — all while keeping Cumming one of the few cities in Georgia with zero property taxes and there will never be a city property tax while I am in office. While I have been in office the City of Cumming has operated in a surplus every year, meaning revenues to the City have been greater than expenses every year.
This is progress worth protecting, but our work isn’t finished. With your support, I look forward to continuing the job we’ve started — building on our successes, facing new challenges, and keeping Cumming a vibrant, safe, and welcoming community for generations to come.
There is more work ahead, and I would be honored to continue serving you. By working together, we can build on our successes, address future challenges, and keep Cumming a community we are proud to pass on to the next generation.
